Mary M. (McMillan) Keith
December 24, 1931 – January 2, 2015
Mary M. (McMillan) Keith, age 83, of Newark, DE and formerly of Gainsville, GA, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 2, 2015.
Born in Landenberg, PA on December 24, 1931, Mrs. Keith was a daughter of the late Wiley McMillan and Lydia Kennedy McMillan. She worked as a secretary for the Hercules Company for 10 years and later at Pike Creek Baptist Church until her retirement. An avid traveler, Mrs. Keith enjoyed vacationing with her family and adored the beach.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas M. Keith, Sr. and a son, Thomas M. Keith, Jr. She is survived by her son, Charles Jeff Keith (Janice) of Newark, DE; sisters, Jean Roberts of Avondale, PA and Lorraine Fraim of Gainsville, GA; brother, Swanson McMillan (Wanza) of Gainsville, GA; grandsons, Joe Keith (Jenn), Jordan Keith and Jared Keith; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Manor Care and Heartland Hospice and to Swanson and Wanza McMillan for their loving care and support.
Services and interment in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE will be held privately.
